Alright its high time I stopped being lazy and start blogging bout the trip since the girls already did so. I'll give a more detailed version though... the pictures will have to wait cuz my girl and Sarah are still holding on to them... send them soon ok? All in all, I would say we had a very eventful and enriching trip... it was certainly an experience to all of us... especially me cuz this would be my first time going on a trip with friends... what more my girlfriend.

Day 1

I'd say that spirits were rather high and everyone was looking forward to our trip.. Jared, Melvin and I cracking silly jokes as usual while the girls took pictures... I mean its not like we didn't join in the photo taking... There's a cam whore in all of us... yes... even you the fat dude who's picking his nose right now and looking at this. See I was thinking bout something amazing on the ferry ride there... which was about 2 hours long mind you... You see, Bintan is like 1 hour behind Singapore time right? so.... if we took 2 hours to get there, wouldn't it be that we took 1 hour to get there instead? and then the ferry ride back would have taken 3 hours right? I voiced my opinions to the rest but I got shot down instead... sigh... but its rather interesting no?

Oh wells... upon our arrival, things looked rather shabby... it was like slum city man... everyone was just staring at you and eyeing you like you did something wrong.. or they might have been thinking that we looked good to murder or smth... I swear.. it was rather scary... I held on to my lover's hand and didn't let go... one more thing bout Bintan is the weather... my gosh its like super hot there but good for tanning... and no I didn't get a tan.

We took another boat ride to our kelong resort and at least there was air con in our rooms! The resort however looked a lil dead to me... there were very lil people around and it just gave it a creepy feeling. I cast that thought aside though cuz I was with my girl and nothing could spoil that mood. Melvin was rather pitiful though... I mean he was the odd one out being alone and all and he had a room all by himself as well.. so we trooped to his room after getting aqquainted with our respective rooms first of course and we played cards. We were also supposed to eat dinner at the resort at first but someone said that we should go to the mainland and eat so at around 7 plus? We took a boat to the mainland and seriously, the streets there aren't really lit properly and all and there are like people staring at you from alleys and shop houses so suddenly we seem all alone and vulnerable. Okay I admit, I was scared I'd get mugged or something cuz I brought like close to 1 million rupiah... EH I MADE MY FIRST MILLION WHEN I WAS 18!!!! haha ok not funny but yea it was freaky and I kept getting hallucinations bout some of them knocking me out and disrespecting my girlfriend... so I kept a tight hold on her and made sure she did not leave my sight.

We ate dinner at this coffee shop that was shoing "the arena" haha they have channel 5 there people! The reception was quite clear as well.... but that's not important. What's important is dinner man... I swear dinner was GREAT!!! for like 200 000 rupiah or was it cheaper? We had like Chilli Crab, Hot Plate Tofu, Fish Steamboat, Sambal KangKong, Baby Kai Lan and rice... that's like ABOUT 40 bucks for 5 people and making them all FULL!!! Can you believe that shit? And we're not talking bout low grade kinda stuff... it was genuinely good food!

Sleeping wasn't that difficult... I mean I don't usually sleep so early but when there's nothing to do and nothing to watch on tv, you tend to end up feeling rather sleepy in the end. So I slept with my baby girl in my arms, feeling like this was the best day of my life.

Day 2

Gosh rather long entry this is gonna be no? Oh well I have time so I'll just rant and rant and rant. Day 2 was like the most tiring day of all... I swear. I mean we had fun definitely but it was rather tiring cuz on this day we went SHOPPING!

We woke up like rather late.. As in Jamie and I... she being she and I being I... We also had a tour guide who was like super nice and all and I tried conversing with him in english and by far, he has like the best command in english from all the commoners I've seen. We went to two malls and bought a couple of stuff... I bought a belt and a Levi's t shirt. Baby bought me a pair of adidas sunglasses... THANKS BABY... its like super cool la... and I gave her frequent surprises every now and then... which I know she's super happy about... I love you!!! She also bought a handbag for her mom and a pair of jeans for herself... Melvin bought like this couple bear thingy for Gail... Later on I saw this Levi's Belt and I cursed myself for buying the belt that I bought... now when I look at it I think its rather ugly but oh well i'm still gonna wear it cuz I bought it... haha and my girlfriend's bargaining skills were put to the test there haha I kept asking her to bargain for me... *grinz* it usually went down by 10000 rupiah or so... unless some bastard told you "fixed price" then you stared at the fella and said "OKAY..!" lol... I also bought like 2 animes which the others said was stupid cuz I could get checked by customs. Oh well since when did I care bout rules anyway?

Oh for lunch we ate at like KFC... they only have one in Tanjong Pinang... and its like the grandest building there... They still sell the Twister down there but they don't have cheese fries and they don't have pop corn chicken nor do they have whipped potato... instead your meal comes with the chicken and a drink and a ball of rice. Cool huh?

After everything was done and all, we headed back to our resort and just waited for dinner time. Dinner was cool I mean the food wasn't that great and this time it cost bout 300 000 plus cuz I ordered a bottle of wine... I mean seriously, its so difficult to find alcohol there and the mood was so nice cuz like they tried to give us this "fine dining by the sea" atmosphere which was rather romantic so I thought wine would be a good drink for the occassion... but nah in the end I drank like most of it... They had karaoke there as well and we sung to our hearts content... this time we had like butter prawns, prawn omellete, sambal kankong and steam fish (can't really remember much cuz it wasn't that great)

After dinner we just went straight to bed... seriously it was a damn shaggadalic day so sleep didn't come much of a problem be it if there was something to do or not.

Day 3

We checked out to book into the hotel that we were supposed to be staying on day 4 cuz we just felt like it and it would be less of a bother to go to the mainland. The hotel was cool I mean the air con was like really cold but they didn't have a bath tub... oh well beggars can't be choosers as quoted from Jared the wise. The tv reception was good and I spent quite a long while watching old flicks on HBO.... the food at the restaurant below was good as well.. I mean it couldn't beat the first day but yea it was quite alright... Oh did I mention that I was smoking like crazy? I mean seriously one pack there is like less than 2 bucks!!! What the hell man.... smoke fest!!! much to the displeasure of my girlfriend of course but its just once in awhile k baby?

This day was fun as well cuz we went for a massage... not the dirty kind of massage of course! Really relaxing stuff... Baby and I had the couple room and we got a massage together... it cost like a mere 16 bucks compared to a 40 dollar one in s'pore... madness... FUCK THE TAX... okay sorry for my outburst. Sarah and Jared took a longer time cuz they bought some special package which included some exfoliatiing bath thing... So we took the liberty to go to the nearby mall and look around for stuff... this mall was rather disappointing however cuz they didn't really have much to offer... like most of the t shirts were all very indo ah beng kinda style and my girlfriend didn't approve... but at least there was an arcade which was super stuffy and what made it worse was that she and I played DDR together looking like two loving idiots while melvin just watched.

Waiting for them was like super long... we even had time to eat at this place called "charlie's chicken" and baby stole the old coke bottle which we didn't noe we had to give back. Charlie's Chicken is something like KFC but I don't know there's something missing... oh well but it was nice anyways.

After that we just felt like taking a swim in the pool but it was filled with moss and mosquitoes so Jared, Melvin and I were the only ones ending up playing in the baby pool for awhile (Jamie and Sarah were watching of course) before going up to bathe. For dinner, we ordered room service and the food was once again quite good... I had a beef burger and I'm sorry I never offered you more baby!!! she also ordered pepper crab, sambal kangkong and I added a mee goreng... OBVIOUSLY we didn't manage to finish all of it and we messed up the unused bed pretty badly I must say...

Guess what happens next??? SLEEP!!!! I gotta say that with that kinda lifestyle there, I really needed the jog that I just went for... I think i gained weight.. oh well what the heck so long as my baby loves me....

Day 4

We decided to cut our trip short due to overwhelming expenses... our lifestyle was too lavish there I guess... but there's a catch. Sarah's dad came over... and caught us all. Heh Long story and I'm not gonna say it but I didn't dare look at him in the eye... Thank god for the sunglasses... Oh and Baby... I will never ever react the way I did on this day ever again... I remember your reaction and then I feel a pang in my heart... I feel guilt and I feel angry with myself. I swear I'll change okay? No matter how long it takes, I'll change.. cuz I love you and I don't wanna see you sad or feel that I'm a lousy guy for you when I'm angry or anything... I'm sorry...

Alright so the boat ride back seemed longer than it was when we went there (my theory works right?) Oh well I was also thinking that we were going back to reality and out of our fantasy "pre-honeymoon" and the feeling was not that great... it was heaven to be like with her for 4 days and all... with no care in the world.. what time to go back... what time to sleep... no restrictions... no distractions... the world revolved around us and of course jared, sarah and melvin... but to me it was just mainly Jamie and I and it felt great!!! Baby, I meant what I sang in I swear okay? We'll have more pre honeymoons in the future k??!! SEPT SEPT SEPT!!!

Yea that's basically how the trip went and all.. this is like a major long post but heck... read to your hearts content... My lover fell asleep without telling me... sigh... call me when you wake up k babe? Love ya!

To sarah , melvin and jared.... It was great spending those 4 days with ya! I hope that we can have more of these kinda things in the future... Thanks for everything Sarah... sorry you got into trouble and all... and to my brothers from another mother... we're gonna be buds for life man... we've come this far already... I don't see why we can't last another 30 years! (cuz I think I'm gonna die young... lol)
