time always manages to slip away when you're not on guard don't you think? Before I could even realise it, school has started... yes a very tragic thing but inevitable nonetheless. If you do intend to ask me how was my first day, you'll be disappointed because, I couldn't go into class... I did not have my time table cuz it was not issued to me and upon enquiring why this was so, I was told that I did not register my modules on the allocated date... So technically, I was not a student for today... pfft.. oh well... made some calls here n there talked to a couple of lecturers... one of them gave me a soul searching reprimand and false information so i ended up going to gardens... Where I met Shirley, Bibi and Ben... Chee Wee came down a lil later... ah shucks to that... Note to the o level peeps.. "gambatte?" haha...I was talking to this ex gang fellow one day... and he told me something really profound he said "if you want to be somebody in life, you must not have these 3 things --> SEX, GAMBLING, DRUGS.. if you hold on to at least one of these vices, you cannot be somebody" Shirley thinks that Alcohol isn't considered a drug well to me it's an intoxicating substance roughly the same as drugs.. so there! hmph haha... yea well.. i guess what he said was true and obviously i'm not somebody cuz i am definitely holdin on to one of those vices... But if u look at it the other way, you can be somebody with those vices too... how do you think the underworld thrives man? haha... but i don't intend to be lord of the underworld or anything... in Singapore? gotta be joking...Talkin about Singapore... I'm sure everyone has this in their minds but knowing me, I like to voice my opinions out... the government.. how do i put this? hmm... to me, they're jus corrupt... Efficient? YES... but corrupt nonetheless... let's not talk about the people's assiociation party first. Let's talk bout Mr Lee and his "empire" his family alone owns like most of the major companies in s'pore... he's a freaking millionare... what does he do with his money? I'm certain that the PAP will always be lead by a Lee... it looks that way doesn't it? Goh was jus a seat warmer for Lee's successor... HIS SON (whoa big surprise).. the reasons why other political parties cannot win PAP is that PAP has major funding.. (oh so that's where his money goes) and the people are scared of the PAP... Say something bad about the PAP and you're declared bankrupt the nxt day due to the powerful hand of Lee... I can't say that the government are tyrants cuz we're not exactly suffering are we? Just that i think that the government cares more about themselves n making money more than they care about Singapore these days... I think the government only becomes patriotic on the 9th of August. Being the government, they are like our leaders n we're supposed to look up to them... they're supposed to be servant leaders so there shouldn't be any favouritism or anything like that but can anyone honestly tell me that Lee's sons/daughters/grandchildren don't recieve special treatment? They definitely do... and that's not how it's supposed to be. What if one day some guy like hitler comes along and manages to overthrow the PAP? gosh... i wonder what it'll be like... all i can say is that he'd need hell lots of funding (i'll chip in bout $20 for the man *laughs*) and he'll have to be more passionate than Mr Lee was in his youth... Then again, Singaporeans are conservative people they love to think loads of stuff but never do have the courage to voice it all out... So it might not work out in the end...Geez... politics... more complicating than u can ever imagine... but politics plays a very important role in our daily lives... Jobs, School and Friends.. It's always there and will always be there for good... so i guess we should all just live with it.
